 | 08:41 pm - 7. Muggle London is fascinating! I just love the bookshops! And the pubs!
[Nora] Nora! I found the greatest book at a muggle bookshop! Now I know that we've already picked up a few baby books already, but I thought, maybe we should give the muggles a chance! See what they have to say about babies.
So there's this book from a little man called Mr. Spock. No... that's not right... DOCTOR Spock. You know, doctors? They're those crazy muggles that cut on you? As if that's the proper way to heal someone! Remember learning about them? Well this bloke doesn't seem to be like that, I mean there's nothing in this book about cutting on babies. Actually quite the opposite. He goes on about how cuddling with babies will make them happy and secure. Same stuff we knew, of course. But still, I bought it anyway. It's called The Common Sense Book of Baby. I've been reading it while eating out at this lovely pub. I'll bring it home for you!

 | 06:13 pm - 6. WHAT DO PEOPLE HAVE AGAINST THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY?
|

 | 09:11 pm - 5.
WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP TELLING ME WE SHOULD HAVE KIDS?
[Private] Ok, calm down. They're all just being nice. And they're right. We would make amazing parents. And kids are so fun! Now is just not the time. There's a war on and just cause your neighbors keep breeding doesn't mean you should start, right? Hrm... [/Private]
Ahem. Cat must've knocked over the ink jar. At least it didn't get stuck in the printing press again.

 | 10:36 pm - 4. I believe I am missing a shoe. Such would be hide-and-seek, though I thought the point was to hide and seek yourself, not my shoes. It's pretty easy to find Dora, seeing as all I have to do is look for a flash of pink hair. Though my shoe will be a different story entirely.
She's adorable though. I'm not sure who's having more fun, us or the child.
[Andromeda] How are you doing dear? Any word on Ted?
[Private] I need to remember this. She's not like the boys across the way. She's trouble, but so cute. I think I'm in love. The boys are great, but a little girl... oh a little girl would be so sweet. And clearly I'm a bloody sucker.

 | 10:04 pm - 3. I just turned thirty! And I have a lovely wife! We had a wonderful dinner the other night for my birthday. I turned thirty! Actually thirty years old on this Earth.
It seems so strange to think that I'm actually thirty. Huh. 3-0. 30.
You know, my parents did a good job, even if they were older when they had me. Good people. Strong wizards from a long line of purebloods, both of them. We might not have had a lot of money, but they managed to give me everything. Makes me almost want to start thinking about
Perhaps I should do a genealogy as a sort of tribute to them for next month's Quibbler...

 | 07:57 pm - 2. All of those quotes have led me to a very large reading list, mostly muggle literature and philosophy. Those muggles! So interesting, especially what they think about fantastical creatures and magic! Absolutely fascinating.
Trouble is, these books are rarely sold at Flourish and Blotts (sorry dear), so I've ventured out into muggle London, there are some excellent bookshops on Charing Cross Road. Though they all looked at me strangely, and to think, I even wore my dad's muggle costume. Perhaps the hat was too much.
But either way, I brought quite a few books home!
[Private to Nora]
Don't get mad I spent a bit on these books. But I think you'll like them!

 | 07:34 pm - 1. So! The holidays were lovely! My wife got me this thing... for writing and whatnot. Lovely of her to do so, and I only just now found it. Seems I misplaced it after Christmas. Anyway, I'm giving it a go, since I finally found it. She got one herself I believe. Though hers might still be lost, you know I never can tell in this house.
What else is going on? Oh yes and I managed to get a trombone on sale on Boxing Day! Good news is I paid only 5 galleons for the trombone! Bad news is I can't play the trombone!
Hrm.... what else? Oh how can I forget! The inauguration! I was present, of course, being a member of the media. Very enlightening. I sure hope our new Minister can keep all her promises.
